11.4 billion UAH of taxes, fees and other mandatory payments were transferred to the state budget by the Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region over 11 months of 2019. Compared to the same period in 2018, the revenues have increased by 2.2 billion UAH. This was stated by Acting head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region Dmytro Prokofiev.
According to him, positive dynamics in payment of taxes and fees to the budget has been achieved due to the quality tax administration, comprehensive elaboration of tax risks, strengthening of measures on the un-shadowing of the economy, effective functioning of the electronic risk management system in the administration of the VAT, adaptation of services to the needs of consumers, as well as improved taxpayers’ attitude towards payment of taxes.
One of the main sources of replenishment of the state budget is the value added tax on goods produced in Ukraine. Nearly 2.3 billion UAH of the VAT was transferred to the state budget over 11 months of 2019 – this is 461 million UAH more than over the same period of 2018. Also the state budget received significant payments of the income tax. The income tax revenues have amounted almost 1.2 billion UAH over 11 months of 2019.
“The STS in Mykolaiv region promotes voluntary payment of taxes dealing with the taxpayers and due to to electronic services that make work for businesses easier, the level of voluntariness will increase” – ensured Dmytro Prokofiev.
