Lesia Karnaukh: State Tax Service exceeded revenue plan for the first half of year by more than 60.8 billion UAH

The first half of year was completed with overachievement of the state budget revenue plan by more than 60.8 billion UAH. State budget received + 9 billion UAH of excess to the plan in June. Fulfillment of the plan is ​​107.7%.  This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesia Karnaukh on her Facebook page

"This is result of working together with the taxpayers. Where there is openness, constant dialogue and trust towards each other, there is a result. I am grateful to everyone who works transparently and pays taxes" – she stated.

Main June indicators of taxes and levies controlled by the State Tax Service.

126.5 billion UAH was received by general fund of the state budget (+44.2% compared to the figure for 2024).

- Personal income tax – 30.1 billion UAH (+10.6% to the plan)

- Corporate income tax – 5.2 billion UAH (+13.0% to the plan)

- Excise tax on imported and manufactured products – 15.5 billion UAH (+4.2% to the plan)

"Since the beginning of year, we have been steadily refunding the VAT. It was 15.3 billion in June. In 6 months, amount of refunded VAT has already reached more than 86.2 billion UAH. This is 23% more than in the first half of last year" – she added.

Main figures of January – June 2025:

647 billion UAH – revenues to general fund of the state budget;  

+10.4% (60.8 billion UAH) – to the revenue plan of January – June 2025;

+22.5% (118.7 billion UAH) – to the actual revenue of January – June 2024.

"Despite challenges and a number of reasons that affect proper amount of revenues, we are all working on the main task – so that our state has proper resources to ensure defense. Ukrainian business demonstrates tremendous resilience. For our part, we are working to ensure equal and fair working conditions. This is about honesty between the state and the business" – emphasized acting Head of the State Tax Service.
