Ruslan Kravchenko: Processing industry and trade enterprises are leaders in tax payment

Industry and trade continue to lead in the budget revenues. This was informed by Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko in the Telegram channel. 

"It was the processing industry, wholesale and retail trade enterprises that provided the biggest share of revenues to the Consolidated budget of Ukraine in January – April 2025. Each industry accounted for 17.2%" – he noted.

Also among the leaders:

public administration and defense;

obligatory social insurance – 11.8%;

financial and insurance activities – 9.6 %.

The biggest increase in payments for January – April 2025 compared to the corresponding period in 2024 in the following industries: 

- processing industry – growth of 43.4% (+34 billion UAH);

- wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles – by 30.8% (+26.3 billion UAH);

- public administration and defense; obligatory social insurance – by 30.4% (+17.8 billion UAH);

- supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning – by 43.5% (+12.5 billion UAH). 

"These industries keep economy stable and demonstrate confident growth. I thank all the taxpayers for their conscientious work" – added Head of the State Tax Service.
