Today, Head of the State Tax Service Ruslan Kravchenko and representatives of more than 60 enterprises and business associations of Ivano-Frankivsk region spoke about business conditions, tax burden and veteran policy. People’s Deputy Marian Zablotskyi also joined the dialogue.
As Head of the State Tax Service noted, currently there are more than 93 thousand business entities registered in the region. Their number has increased by more than 3.3 thousand compared to the last year.
Participants discussed standard business questions – block of tax invoices, executing court decisions and classifying them as risky. Here, the State Tax Service already has a developed algorithm that allows for quick resolution of questions.
Another important question is significant difference in the tax burden between regions within the same industry.
“Unfortunately, until now there have been no unified approaches to calculating the tax burden by region. State Tax Service’s team is already working on developing fair approaches that will take into account peculiarities of conducting economic activities in different regions. By the end of May, we plan to come up with specific suggestions to discuss them with business. As this is exactly what trust and partnership between the Tax Service and business are all about” – noted Head of the State Tax Service.
He also focused on veterans’ policy, noting that this is one of priority questions and called on the entire State Tax Service’s team to be especially attentive to all appeals from our defenders, because humanity is the basis of every communication.
“During the meeting, one of our defenders, who has a business, raised question of tax audits for those undergoing mobilization service. I completely agree that those who are on the front lines are not up to dealing with audit matters. Therefore, there should be extremely balanced approach here. Both from the side of tax officials and from the legislators’ side” – said Ruslan Kravchenko.
He reminded that in each region there are special "hotlines" where our defenders and veterans can receive professional advice regarding tax questions.
They also talked about revising criteria for work of the "White Business Club".
“For me, all business entities that work honestly are white. I always set the State Tax Service’s employees up for this. While changes are not officially approved, the Tax Service is already moving forward. In practice, we already recognize responsible business entities as honest, regardless of their club membership or formal status. You can also always contact consulting centers in regions with any problematic questions” – added Ruslan Kravchenko.
