State Tax Service has already issued more than 401.3 thousand free electronic keys in January – April 2025

More than 141 thousand taxpayers used services of the Qualified Provider of Electronic Trust Services of the State Tax Service of Ukraine during January – April 2025. They received more than 401.3 thousand qualified public key certificates. 

Almost 58% of users are individuals. More than 81.4 thousand citizens received 165.8 thousand qualified public key certificates.

Almost 59.6 thousand legal entities received 235.5 thousand qualified public key certificates for reporting, concluding agreements and other operations. 

It is possible to save time and renew certificate by oneself in just 2-3 minutes using the Electronic service for regenerating certificates by electronic request. 58.4 thousand payers have used this service over 4 months. 

Almost 201.4 thousand qualified public key certificates have been generated for them, of which 26.3 thousand are seals for software RRO. In total, 14.9 million certificates have been issued since the launch of the State Tax Service’s service. 

Reminder! To obtain qualified electronic trust services it is needed to: 

1. Read rules and conditions of service on the website https://ca.tax.gov.ua in section "Obtaining qualified electronic trust services". 

2. Prepare necessary registration documents (list is on the website).

3. Come to the registration point with original documents (addresses are indicated in the "Contacts" section on the website). If you have a passport in "Diia" (version 2.0+), it is possible to identify yourself via smartphone using the "Sharing" function. 

4. Bring storage medium to store your personal key (secure key information medium, removable flash drive, etc.).

Please note! Registration point does not provide copying, printing or filling out documents and does not sell or issue key media. 

Renew your certificate by yourself through the (remote) certificate re-generation service by electronic request. Only users who have the following credentials will be able to generate new certificates remotely: 

- valid certificates (for example, a few days remain before their expiration date);

- unchangeable registration data (full name, registration address of residence place, code of the Unified State Register of Enterprises and Organizations of Ukraine organization, etc.);

- private key, accessible only to the user, and not compromised. 

The new key will be valid for 2 years.

It is also possible to obtain qualified certificates using the international RSA and ECDSA algorithms, which simplifies processes of international transactions and cooperation with partners from the European Union.
