STS is a leader in the open data for the second year in a row

Open data is an important component of digital transformation, increasing transparency and accountability of government.

STS was recognized as one of the leaders in the open data during working meeting with participation of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov on the 29th of April, 2021.

State Tax Service of Ukraine pays considerable attention to the open data. An example of this is that in 2020 the STS entered top three finalists of the Open Data Government Awards for the highest standards of publication of open data by the central executive bodies https://tapas.org.ua/all-uk/news-uk/vidomi -finalisty-open-data-awards/

STS, since the beginning of its work, has provided publication of 41 data sets in the form of open data, which are assigned to the STS according to Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as of 21.10.2015 № 835 “On approval of Regulations on data sets in the form of open data” (as amended) (hereinafter – Resolution № 835) and constantly updates them. STS has fully complied with Resolution № 835 https://zakon.rada.gov.ua/laws/show/835-2015-%D0%BF#Text.

As of today, according to amendments to the Resolution № 835 (Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers as of 03.03.2021 № 407, which entered into force on 28.04.2021 https://zakon.rada.gov.ua/laws/show/407-2021-%D0%BF#Text), the STS has 5 additionally assigned data sets (total number is 46 data sets), which will be published on the Open Data Portal and on the STS’s web portal within a month:

Financial reporting (reporting on financial position (balance) and reporting on income and other comprehensive income (reporting on financial performance) submitted as an appendix to the tax reporting (reporting new) for the annual tax (reporting) period according to Paragraph 46.2 Article 46 of the Tax Code of Ukraine;

Register of budget grant recipients;

Register of applications for installments, deferral of monetary obligation or tax debt;

List of vehicles carrying fuel or ethyl alcohol;

Information on payers who have debt (arrears) from the single contribution to obligatory state social insurance.

Of these 5 new data sets, 1 data set has been published since February 2021, namely “Information on payers who have debt (arrears) from the single contribution to obligatory state social insurance”.
