Over 10 months 2019, the general revenues to budgets and funds have increased by 17.9% in comparison to the same period 2018 – Serhii Verlanov during the meeting of the competent parliamentary committee

Tax service will ensure the full amount of revenues to the budgets of all levels. This was stated by Chairman of the STS Serhii Verlanov in his report regarding the organization and results of work of the State tax service during the meeting of Committee on Finances, Tax and Customs Policy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

“The tax service has almost 1.5 months to complete all planned figures. We have the resources to accomplish this and will demonstrate ability of the new service to respond adequately to all challenges. Plan will be fulfilled because we understand that this is a base for the financing of all social payments and the effective start of new fiscal year” – emphasized Serhii Verlanov.

He also emphasized that the STS ensures completeness of budget revenues due to the increasing level of analytical work and combating schemes without any pressure on business. Over 10 months 2019, the general revenues to budgets and funds have increased by 17.9% in comparison to the same period 2018. The task for several months is to remove alcohol and tobacco from the “shadow”.

Serhii Verlanov informed that as of today the Tax service pays great attention to development of new services and, in particular, improvement of work of the E-cabinet. According to Chairman of the STS the E-cabinet should become the main channel of communication between the taxpayers and Tax service.

“5 million taxpayers use the E-cabinet monthly. Users are companies, individuals-entrepreneurs and citizens. Such broad audience of users makes us constantly keep our heart on the pulse, study the needs of our customers, their demand for services and improve according to these requirements. ” – said Chairman of the Tax service.

According to Serhii Verlanov, the Tax service is already working on changing the E-cabinet’s interface and creating a mobile application that will allow the taxpayers to report and pay all taxes in a smartphone.

“Tax service in a smartphone” is the best way to implement the principle of contactless communication of the Tax service with taxpayers. This, in turn, will not only save the taxpayer’s time but will also help reduce corruption directly in the service.

Serhii Verlanov also emphasized that the STS is ready for the timely launch of the software registrars of calculated operations. As of today the software solution is being finalized and it will be free to download and maintain. On the 1st of January 2020, it will be presented to the taxpayers for testing. Testing mode will run until the 19th of April, 2020 - from day the software RCO can be used alongside with traditional cash registers.

“During this period, the taxpayers will be able to familiarize themselves with the new rules, test the software RCO, understand their benefits and determine for themselves what models to use in their activity. I would like to emphasize that the STS will provide its software solution for free, as well as provide its maintenance and support for free. Moreover, we will provide informational help to all comers - we will help to learn how to use the RCO, will show how it works and will answer all questions” – stated Serhii Verlanov.

Chairman of the STS also outlined that simplification of running the business operations through the development of electronic services is a priority in work of the STS and in the plans to make the process of obtaining tax services, reporting and paying taxes as simple as possible.
