Software registrars of calculated operations from the STS will be provided and maintained free of charge

After the publication of the Law of Ukraine “On the application of registrars of calculated operations in the sphere of trade, catering and services” and other Laws of Ukraine “On the unshadowing of trade and services calculations” № 128-IX as of 20.09.2019 there are questions regarding the availability and cost of the software RCO that should be developed by the STS.

We explain that, according to the Law, “the controlling authority provides a free of charge software solution for use of business entity”. This is a fully-fledged solution that any seller can download from the tax authority’s website, install on their own “gadget” turning it into a cash register. Usage of this publicly available solution will be free of charge for the taxpayer, with no maintenance fees or “hidden fees”. At the same time, business entities can take advantage of the software solution from other developers, or develop their own software.
