In September 2019 the VAT accruals increased by 20.4% compared to last year’s figure

The STS continues to improve the administration of the value added tax. According to preliminary data, in September 2019 the VAT accruals totaled to 20.95 billion UAH that is 3.55 billion UAH or 20.4% more than in September 2018 (17.4 billion UAH).

Herewith, the last month’s supply increased only by 3.5% compared to September 2018 (from 731.4 billion UAH to 757.1 billion UAH).

Also, growth rates of the VAT accruals keep are accelerating. According to results in August 2019, the VAT accruals increased by 17.2% in comparison to August 2018 and by 20.4% according to result in September.

In this regard, Chairman of the STS Serhii Verlanov stated that: “The State tax service intensifies the analytical work, thereby increasing efficiency of the VAT administration. Increase of budget revenues is the result of such work”.
