Since the start of official sales of Apple gadgets of the 18th series in Ukraine, the State Tax Service has tightened control over compliance with the law during sale of mobile phones and accessories.

During September 2026, tax authorities placed 137 pre-orders for new models of smartwatches, phones and other Apple brand products.

According to the results of 18 control purchases, 5 facts of making payments without using the RRO/PRRO and without issuing fiscal checks to buyers in purchasing an iPhone 18 were established.

Amount of financial sanctions for the specified violations exceeds 500 thousand UAH.

Retail chains should take care of proper payment processing and issuing fiscal checks to buyers. Customers are urged to be vigilant – check is also protection of rights.
