644 payers transferred 158.3 million UAH of parking fee revenues to local budgets for 8 months of 2026. This is 12.2% or 17.2 million UAH more than for the corresponding period last year. Then revenues amounted to 141.1 million UAH.

The biggest revenues from the fee are in the following regions:

- Odesa – 51.9 million UAH;

- Lviv – 44.0 million UAH;

- Dnipropetrovsk – 38.3 million UAH.

This fee is fully credited to local budgets and therefore is one of the sources of financing for development of urban infrastructure and community improvement.

Fee payers are legal entities and individuals-entrepreneurs who, according to the decisions of local government bodies, organize and carry out activities to ensure parking of vehicles.

At the same time, legislation provides for important social guarantees. In particular, the fee is not paid for area of ​​land allocated for free parking of vehicles of drivers with disabilities or drivers transporting persons with disabilities.

Number of such places must be at least 10 percent of the total number of parking spaces and if there are less than 10, at least one such place must be provided. They must be marked with appropriate road signs and/or road markings.
