Cabinet of Ministers appointed Yurii Koniushenko as the First Deputy Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine. The Government also temporarily assigned him to perform duties of Head of the State Tax Service. Order came into force on September 29, 2026. 

Among the key tasks of the new acting Head of the State Tax Service are: ensuring coordinated and uninterrupted operation of the Service, meeting planned indicators of the state budget revenues, further improving and simplifying tax administration, improving interaction with business and open dialogue with the taxpayers.

Until now, Yurii Koniushenko was Director of the Coordination and Monitoring Department of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. He has many years of experience in the public finance, tax policy and tax administration. He devoted a significant part of professional activity to work in the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
