Doing own business after the front: almost 700 consultations for veterans at the State Tax Service
Press service of the State Tax Service of Ukraine,
Veterans received almost 700 tax consultations at the Tax Consultant Offices. State Tax Service introduced new service – tax support for veteran business in April this year.
“In April of this year, we introduced new service at the Tax Consultant Offices – tax support for veteran business. Everything is as simple as possible. So that a person who defended the country can calmly take the next step in civilian life” – stated acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesya Karnaukh.
There are many questions that defenders ask: taxation system, nuances of business registration, tax risks.
The main thing is no queues. Everything is in the “green corridor” format. State Tax Service pays special attention to the “Equal to equal” approach. This is when our veterans are met by their fellow veterans in the Tax Consultant Offices. These are our moderators – demobilized veterans who passed competitive selection and joined the State Tax Service’s team. They understand well adaptation challenges after the service and help former militaries confidently navigate tax procedures and take their first steps in the entrepreneurship.
“In total, 24 veterans are already working as moderators in 20 Tax Consultant Offices. And we are very happy when our Defenders choose to work with us” – added acting Head of the State Tax Service.
By the way, last weekend in Odesa, team of the State Tax Service of Ukraine joined the Superhumans Reunion 2026 in Odesa – meeting of the Superhumans community, which united veterans and civilians, their families, partners and friends.
Specialists of the Tax Consultant Offices help veterans to:
- choose optimal taxation system according to the business format;
- understand work of the RRO/PRRO;
- receive support during participation in grant programs – from preparing application to reporting.
Tax Consultant Offices remain a space where veterans can receive not only professional consultation, but also practical support: from starting their own business “from scratch” to quickly resuming work of individual-entrepreneur after demobilization.
