Main Directorate of the STS in Chernihiv region reported that local budgets of all levels received more than 4.4 billion UAH of taxes and fees during January – September 2020.

The biggest share in the total amount (64%) is occupied by the personal income tax –2.8 billion UAH, of which about 569 million UAH was transferred to the regional budget.

Property tax (for land plots, residential and non-residential real estate, as well as premium cars) was paid in the amount of 696.7 million UAH (15.7% of budget revenues of territorial communities). Single tax received on entrepreneurial activity was paid in the amount of 566.2 million UAH (12.7% of the total amount).

The remaining taxes and fees is 7.6% of the total amount. Revenues: income tax – more than 45 million UAH, rent for the use of natural resources – about 117 million UAH, excise tax on the sale of alcohol beverages, tobacco and fuel – 139.6 million UAH, licenses fees for the production and sale of excisable products – 15.4 million fees, environmental tax – 13.6 million fees.

More than a quarter of tax revenues to local budgets were provided by public administration, education and health care institutions (26.4% of the total amount or more than 1.1 billion UAH). Also, significant amounts were transferred from agriculture representatives (18.8% or 834 million UAH) and industry (14.4% or 639.6 million UAH). Citizens paid more than 662 million UAH of taxes and property fees (14.9% of the total).

Business entities operating in trade and public catering provided 346.4 million UAH (7.8% of local budget revenues), transport – 254.7 million UAH (5.7%), forestry – more than 131 million UAH (3%), construction – 65.5 million UAH (1.5%).
