Local budget’s revenues increased by 1 billion UAH in Khmelnytsly region

According to acting head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Khmelnytsly region Valerii Konovalchuk, local budgets received 6.7 billion UAH of taxes and fees in 2019 – this is 1 billion UAH or 19% more than in 2018.

Task of territorial communities was achieved at the level of 106%. Thus, in addition to the indicator the local budgets received 374 million UAH of the tax payments.

In December, collection of payments was ensured in the amount of 648 million UAH – this is 128 million UAH more than in December 2018. Personal income tax is one of the stable sources of filling local budgets. In January-December 2019, the budget of local communities received 4.5 billion UAH of this tax. Compared to the same period last year, revenues have increased by 768 million UAH or 120%.

In addition, during 2019 local budgets received, namely: the single tax - 947 million UAH (+119 million UAH), land tax and rent - 755 million UAH (+131 UAH).

“Undoubtedly, the systematic filling of community budgets forms the tendency for economic and social stability in the region. It is noteworthy that the growth rates of local budget revenues indicate the effectiveness of prevention, information and communication activities undertaken by the Tax service jointly with communities. The main topic of discussion is the un-shadowing of the labor market and entrepreneurship which is reflected in wage taxes, as well as land and excise tax on the retail sales. Communities where community leaders understand importance of their involvement in budgeting, the right outcome is generated.” – stated acting head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Khmelnytsly region Valerii Konovalchuk.
