Taxpayers of Trans Carpathian region transferred 7.7 billion UAH of taxes, fees and other required payments to the budgets of all levels during 2019. Statistics shows that this amount exceeds figures of 2018 by more than 1 billion 143.5 million UAH. This was stated by acting head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Trans Carpathian region Illia Matol.
According to him, the main purpose of tax revenues is provision of the state budget with financial resources. Thus, some taxes are transferred to the local budgets, others to the state budget. Particularly, in Trans Carpathian region and later for bigger number of the united territorial communities the important part belongs to revenues which were transferred to the local treasury – this is more than 4 billion 760 million UAH in 2019 which were or will be aimed at addressing the needs of local communities.
“Voluntary payment of taxes by citizens, as well as effective work of regional STS bodies allowed to reach a significant level of the budget revenues. Particularly, this was possible due to the taxpayers’ understanding of the need to fill budgets of all levels, as well as creating comfortable conditions for fulfillment of the citizen’s constitutional obligation due to the electronic services. In 2020, the STS specialists will continue to work on improving system of administration of taxes and fees. We hope that such positive results will continue in the future” – stated Illia Matol.
