Personal income tax is a payment that makes up most of the local treasuries. Preferably, its revenues make 60-80%. Wages, legalization of shadow incomes are among the main sources of the PIT revenues.
During 2019, the amount of 3 billion 976.4 million UAH of the personal income tax was transferred in Ternopil region. Compared to 2018, revenues of this tax have increased by 668.5 million UAH or 20.2% more.
Out of the total amount of the personal income tax, local treasuries received 2 billion 969.2 million UAH – this is 75.2 million UAH more than expected. Taxpayers transferred 1 billion 7.3 million UAH of the personal income tax to the state budget. This exceeded the expected figures by 26 million UAH.
