7 billion 270.5 million UAH of taxes and fees have been transferred to the consolidated budget of Ukraine by the taxpayers in Ternopil region over 2019. Actual revenues exceeded expectations by 2.7%. Therefore, the budget received additional 191 million UAH. Compared to January-December 2018, the payment has increased by 895.8 million UAH or 14.1%. This was stated by acting head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Ternopil region Valerii Lisnytskyi.
In 2019 local budgets received 4 billion 334.5 million UAH of payments – this is 5.5 percent more than expected. “Treasury of the territorial communities received additional 226.7 million UAH” – clarified acting head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Ternopil region. Compared to 2018, the revenue growth has amounted 698 million UAH or plus 19.2%.
“I believe this has been achieved through the promotion of transparent payment of taxes among the taxpayers, understanding of the need to fill budgets of all levels, as well as to create comfortable conditions for fulfillment of the constitutional obligation of every citizen through the development of electronic tax services.” – stated Valerii Lisnytskyi.
