More than 822 million UAH of tax payments administered by the STS bodies were paid in Volyn region in November 2019. Another 372 million UAH of the single social contribution to the compulsory state social insurance was directed by Volyn employers for the social needs. As follows, 1 billion 194 million UAH is the biggest amount provided to the budgets per one month in the region not only since the beginning of the year. In Volyn, such record amount of payments yet has never been transferred to the budgets within one month by the Tax service ever since the introduction of the national currency.
“The tax success of November 2019 was expected due to the systematic work on counteraction against the tax minimization schemes, introduction of electronic VAT administration systems and turnover of fuel, as well as work on the un-shadowing of the labor market. Current practice of tax administration is focused on the timely identification of risks of the non-payment, aimed to prevent attempts to form the tax credit “scheme” or unreasonable production costs, or to conceal the facts of hired labor. Logical result of all the efforts of tax specialists - positive dynamics of the tax revenues” – emphasized Acting head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region Serhii Kondratiuk.
At present, increase in the payment of taxes is rising in the region in comparison to the last year’s figures and consists + 19.6%.
“Over 11 months of 2019, Volyn taxpayers transferred tax payments in the amount of 7 billion 592 million UAH to all budgets – this is 1 billion 247 million UAH more than in the same period of 2018. More than 7 billion UAH of taxes were paid to the budgets of all levels in the region according to the results of all previous year. That is a good tax support of Volyn taxpayers that has a significant financial effect on the budget” – summarized Serhii Kondratiuk.
