Over 9 months of 2019, the taxpayers of Zaporizhzhia region transferred to the budgets the amount of 6 billion 368 million UAH of the personal income tax - which is 938.5 million or 17% more than in the same period 2018 (not including the figures of large enterprises registered in Zaporizhzhia Department of the Large Taxpayers Office of the STS).
Acting Deputy Commissioner of Main Directorate of the STS in Zaporizhzhia region Ruslan Rachynskyi stated that according to the budgetary allocation, the amount of 1 billion 592 million UAH (+234.6 mln) was transferred to the state budget, 4 billion 776 million UAH (+703.8 mln) was transferred to local treasury of the region.
Ruslan Rachynskyi also stated that in 2019 average PIT revenues increased by 94 million UAH or 17% and have amounted 636.8 million UAH.
The biggest revenues were provided to the budgets by the business entities and residents of Zaporizhzhia - 2 billion 811 million UAH; Energodar city (Kamyansko-Dniprovsky and Velikobilozersky districts) - 807 million UAH; Melitopol city (Melitopol and Veseliv districts) - 674 million UAH; Berdyansk city (Berdyansk and Primorsky districts) - almost half a billion UAH; Vasylivsky and Mikhailovsky districts - 383.5 million UAH; Pologovsky, Belmatsky and Roseau districts - 316 million UAH.
Enterprises that specialize on the production of electricity, mining of iron ores, institutions and organizations in the field of public order and security, public administration and education are among the leaders in payment of the PIT.
In total, there are 74.3 thousand taxpayers of the personal income tax in Zaporizhzhia, including 18.6 thousand of legal entities and 55.7 thousand of individuals-entrepreneurs.
