In the first three months of 2026, Ukrainian citizens submitted 92 thousand property and income declarations. They declared income received in 2025 for a total of 74.3 billion UAH.
According to the declaration results, citizens determined payable 1.6 billion UAH of the personal income tax and military levy. This is almost 560 million UAH more than the last year.
8.3 thousand people declared income of more than 1 million UAH. In total, they declared 38.2 billion UAH of the last year's income and determined almost 1.1 billion UAH of tax liabilities.
What Ukrainians declare:
- inheritance and donation – 6.6 billion UAH;
- foreign income – 3.4 billion UAH;
- sale of property (movable and immovable) – 1.8 billion UAH;
- property rental – 1.2 billion UAH;
- investment income – 1.0 billion UAH;
- other income – 971.2 million UAH.
Current record holder among the taxpayers based on the declaration results is a resident of Khmelnytskyi region, who determined tax liabilities of more than 18.3 million UAH.
Leaders in terms of declared income:
- Kyiv – 16.3 billion UAH;
- Dnipropetrovsk region – 6.6 billion UAH;
- Lviv region – 6.0 billion UAH;
- Kyiv region – 5.8 billion UAH.
At the same time, more than 42 thousand citizens have exercised their right to the tax rebate. Amount of the personal income tax subject to refunding is 291.6 million UAH. This is 52 million UAH more than the last year.
