"Google Tax": budget received 85.7 million US dollars and 76.5 million Euros in the first half of the year

"Google Tax". International companies increase budget contributions. International non-resident companies that provide electronic services to Ukrainians transferred 85.7 million US dollars and 76.5 million Euros to the budget in the first half of 2025. This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesya Karnaukh on the Facebook page.

“This is 16.2 million US dollars (+23%) and 15.9 million Euros (+26%) more than in the same period last year. 132 non-residents reported tax amounts they had paid” – she stated.

The biggest payers: Apple, Google, Valve, Meta, Sony, Etsy, Netflix, Wargaming, Bolt, OpenAI, Ebay, etc.

Number of non-residents who provide electronic services to individuals is also growing. Today there are 141 of them (16 more than the last year).

“These are colossal revenues to the budget, which strengthen our resilience even in extremely difficult conditions. Moreover, this equalizes competition conditions between Ukrainian and international business in the digital services sphere. I am grateful to all global players for paying taxes honestly!” – emphasized Lesya Karnaukh.
