Congratulations on the occasion of the Day of Ukrainian Statehood

Today is the day of Ukrainian Statehood.

Statehood is not something abstract. It is not just about laws or institutions.

Statehood is about people, about each of us who creates it every day. Ukrainian statehood was born not yesterday, but many centuries ago.

Ukrainians know the true price of statehood. We have our own language, history, culture. We know what true freedom, independence and sovereignty are.

We have our values and we know what our future should be. We have and will have a country, no matter how much russian enemy tries to wipe us out. We have Ukrainian statehood, which thousands of Ukrainians defend with weapons in their hands.  

Every day we go through difficult trials and great losses. But we do not lose the main thing – ourselves, Ukrainian statehood and a right to be Ukrainians on our land.
