A little over a month ago, after one of the next russian attacks on the Dnipro, building of its Main Directorate of the State Tax Service was damaged – a significant number of windows were broken. Today, everything has been restored.

This was informed by Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko in the Telegram channel.

Renovation of building in such a short time was made possible with a help of the non-profit organization Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) in partnership with the Howard Graham Buffett Foundation (HGBF).

"We are connected with the GEM by a story that began back when I headed Regional Military Administration. They helped in installing windows worth 3 million USD in homes of residents of the Kyiv region who suffered from russian attacks. Today, they have lent their friendly shoulder to the tax authorities" noted Head of the State Tax Service.

Damaged, large, non-standard structures of building of Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in Dnipro were dismantled, new windows were installed, and the building was restored to its functionality. In total, 276 square meters of damaged metal-plastic and wooden blocks with double-glazed windows were replaced.

Ruslan Kravchenko emphasized that the GEM is also helping to restore two more Tax Service’s buildings – in Poltava and Kharkiv regions. They were also damaged as a result of russian strikes.

"Thank to the GEM’s team and its founder Michael Capponi. This is what true friendship looks like. When they help not because they have to – but because they have no other choice" – emphasized Head of the State Tax Service.
