Head of the State Tax Service Ruslan Kravchenko and representatives of Belgian business spoke about improving business conditions, promptly resolving taxation questions and establishing systemic communication during the meeting.
"We agreed on this format of dialogue during our first meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Ukraine Luc Jacobs. I am grateful to the Ambassador for promptly implementing our agreements. The more openness and consistency we have in working with international business, the more opportunities we will have to attract new investments, develop production and create working places" – outlined Ruslan Kravchenko.
According to him, more than 100 enterprises with Belgian capital operate in Ukraine today. They paid more than 720 million UAH of taxes last year.
Participants, during the meeting, discussed a wide range of topics that concern to business:
- VAT administration and refunding;
- tax audits – approaches to their purpose, openness of procedures, communication with taxpayers;
- work of the "White Business Club";
- functioning of electronic services of the State Tax Service;
- taxation peculiarities in the wartime conditions;
- interaction with territorial departments of the Tax Service;
- new services that are being implemented within framework of the State Tax Service reform.
"We worked out each specific case on which questions arose. We also agreed on further systematic communication. I am grateful to the Embassy of Belgium in Ukraine for support, and to representatives of Belgian companies for their openness, trust and desire to develop business in Ukraine" – emphasized Ruslan Kravchenko.
