STS and BEB agreed on the Cooperation and Partnership Memorandum

Meeting of acting Chairman of the State Tax Service Tetiana Kirienko and Director of BEB Vadym Melnyk resulted in agreement to sign an interdepartmental Cooperation and Partnership Memorandum between the State Tax Service (abb. STS) and the Bureau of Economic Security (abb. BEB) in order to unite efforts in direction of creating favorable conditions for development of honest business and counteraction to economic offenses.

Acting Chairman of the STS Tetiana Kirienko noted that the Tax Service is ready to cooperate effectively with the Bureau, so from the moment of signing this Memorandum a new page of such cooperation between the two state bodies will begin.

According to Chairman of the State Tax Service, the purpose of Memorandum is to organize effective cooperation between the STS and the BEB in combating economic crimes and coordinating joint actions to increase the efficiency of filling the budget.

In turn, Director of BEB Vadym Melnyk emphasized that signing of Memorandum is evidence that cooperation of state bodies is effective. Joint efforts will provide comfortable conditions for honest taxpayers and eliminate the preconditions for creating schemes of illegal activities in the economic sphere.
