Concealment of 48 million UAH from taxation was exposed in Kherson region

Specialists of the Anti-money laundering department of Main Directorate of the STS in Kherson region, Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol city with employees of Main Division of the SFS in Kherson region, Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol city exposed concealment of significant amounts from income taxation.

Tax officials detected that citizen, who was the beneficiary – main recipient of income, established a trusted relationship with officials of milk processing plants and had a decisive influence on activities of citizens on whose behalf financial operations were conducted.

Due to this well-established scheme, the milk processing plants transferred a total of 48 million UAH to the bank accounts of controlled entrepreneurs. These funds were received, appropriated and concealed from taxation by the beneficiary. As follows, the budget received less than 12 million UAH of tax payments.

Currently, further investigative actions are ongoing within a pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceeding under Part 3 Article 212 of the Criminal code of Ukraine.
