Today, the State Tax Service is undergoing a period of reforms related to changes in the legal norms envisaged by the Law of Ukraine as 16.01.2020 № 466, as well as changes in the organizational structure of the service. That is why it is extremely important to adhere to the principle of openness and equality with all business representatives, associations and the public.

This was stated by the Chairman of the State Tax Service Oleksiy Lyubchenko during a meeting with the Head of Ukrainian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Ukraine) Vladimir Shchelkunov.

“We analyzed all administrative processes, case law, audit and services for taxpayers. We outlined the working direction and began to work actively. In particular, one of the important tasks for the Tax Service today is combating the shadow economy. These are the funds that our economy so desperately needs and we will use even unpopular methods to transfer them to the budget from the shadow market.” – emphasized Oleksiy Lyubchenko.

According to him, currently there are meetings with representatives of the business community at the STS in order to hear all the problematic issues and suggestions directly from them. This will help to build a mechanism for working in the appropriate direction and at the same time take into account all the controversial points through their discussion with participants of this market segment.

During the meeting, Chairman of the STS outlined the importance of cooperation with the International Chamber of Commerce which unites a big number of representatives of large and medium-sized business.
