STS urges to make the full use of remote communication format

, published 18 March 2020 at 18:41

Taxpayers’ health and safety is a top priority for the STS as a socially responsible state body. State Tax Service of Ukraine strongly recommends taxpayers to refrain from visiting Taxpayer service centers without urgent need due to the outbreak and spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, prevention of infection and spread of viral infections. Especially if the problem you intend to address to the Taxpayer service center can be solved remotely (online or by mail).

If reason for appeal is urgent and requires a mandatory visit to the Taxpayer service center, please follow recommendations of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to reduce the impact and transmission of acute respiratory viral infections:

use a protective mask and disinfectants whenever possible;

do not to create crowds of people in the Taxpayer service centers. Remember to keep a safe distance between people (at least 1.5 meters);

avoid contact with anyone with heat and cough.

IMPORTANT: if you have symptoms of acute respiratory viral infections (fever, cough, shortness of breath, etc.) or if you have recently been in contact with COVID-19 patients or in countries with coronavirus infections, please stay home and avoid your visit to the Taxpayer service centers.

STS requests to reduce paper workflow and to use electronic communications and mail.
