Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Dmytro Ventskovskyi, heads of structural units of the STS and representatives of the European Business Association discussed topical questions regarding the Tax service’s reforming process, tax administration and tax legislation innovations that concern business representatives during the meeting.
“State Tax Service is open to dialogue with business representatives. We understand that recent changes to the tax legislation require some clarification. We are ready for this work. Moreover, feedback from business is important for us, as we listen to entrepreneurs and, accordingly, work even more effectively.” – emphasized Deputy Chairman of the STS Dmytro Ventskovskyi.
Dmytro Ventskovskyi also noted that the newly created Tax service was launched in a short time. Herewith, the Tax service ensured that all identified budget revenue and business-friendly tasks were accomplished.
In addition, Deputy Chairman of the STS emphasized that a great deal of attention was paid to the personnel “reboot”. At present, the senior management team of central apparatus of the Tax service has been “rebooted” by 90%. Detailed plan for conducting a comprehensive review of the officials’ compliance with the occupied positions has also been developed. Particularly, there is a process of creation of commission as a part of which representatives of the Ministry of Finance, people’s deputies and the public will be involved.
Also, the mechanism of evaluating results of officials’ activities in the STS bodies and selection of personnel is being improved, and a test plan, interviews, etc. are developed.
During the meeting, representatives of the European Business Association made suggestions on topical business questions. Business representatives also showed interest in the process of implementing the latest RCO models.
As a result of the meeting, representatives of the European Business Association noted the STS’s willingness to keep up a constructive dialogue and expressed hope that cooperation with the STS will continue and deepen further.
