Serhii Verlanov congratulated officers of the Special Tax Police Unit who service at the demarcation line with anniversary

Chairman of the STS Serhii Verlanov congratulated officers of the Special Tax Police Unit (known as “Phantom”) during the solemn meeting devoted to the fifth anniversary since the creation of the Special Tax Police Unit in the area of ATO and Joint Forces Operation.

“About 1.5 years ago, when I was acting Deputy Minister of Finance, I was lucky, I would not pick another word, to visit the East of Ukraine, places where “Phantom” officers carry out their service. Being in 15 kilometers from the demarcation line, you understand the gravity of situation. Also, I was at the controlling entry-exit checkpoint. It seemed as if two worlds collide. We stand on the side of light, the side of truth. And victory will follow us. We are grateful to you for your brotherhood for having performed your service with your head held high. And the most importantly, I wish you all will return to your families” – emphasized Serhii Verlnov.
