Meeting with students - participants of the project “Dual education” was held at the STS
The tax service welcomed the students of the Master’s program “Fiscal Administration” within the draft project “Dual Education: A New Form of Personnel Training for the STS departments”. For the first time in Ukraine specialists of the state authority will be trained on the basis of dual form of education.
Twelve students were chosen to participate in the program and received motivation letters.
“The tax service is looking forward to young employees who will bring new ideas, visions and changes to the service. Instead, we will share their experience; teach you all the details about the work, help to determine the direction of the future profession. Within the framework of this project, participants will have a great opportunity to find themselves and their place in a government authority” – stated Head of the SFS Strategic Development and International Cooperation Department Anatolii Aleksandrov.
Peculiarity of dual education is that students will both work in the tax service and keep studying. Each of them will be able to choose a direction, for example, audit, tax administration or service development, and gain knowledge and practical experience in the chosen specifics.
For students, this training will help to adapt more quickly to working days and gain employment opportunities at the tax service.
At the same time, the STS will be able to recruit young staff to their ranks, who will receive special knowledge, abilities and skills.
“The STS leadership is interested in recruiting new personnel. We will provide a full support to the SFS University in its scientific work, training of young personnel. It is an institution whose graduates are ready for public service with all its features. The STS will make every effort to ensure that young professionals are willing to work in the tax service, providing competitive conditions and perspective work” – outlined Head of the STS Operation Support Department Dmytro Ventskovskyi.
Project partners - representatives of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the Kiev School of Economics (KSE), expressed their wishes for successful learning and work to the students. It was with their support that the Dual Education Project was implemented. Implementation of project “Dual education” at the STS became possible right with their support.
It should be reminded that on the 20th of June 2019, the SFS University, German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) GmbH and Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) signed a Memorandum on the Implementation of Dual Education Elements on the basis of the Master’s Degree Program “Fiscal Administration” and customs affairs of the SFS University.
