Local budgets received 274.3 billion UAH in the first half of 2026. This is 16% more than in the same period last year. Last year, this amount was UAH 236.5 billion. This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesya Karnaukh.
“Country’s resilience is about resilience of regions and communities. About our ability to fill local budgets even despite the enemy’s constant attacks. Today, communities face enormous challenges. When russians destroy enterprises, force business to relocate, destroy logistics, which causes economic activity to suffer, it becomes increasingly difficult to fulfill tax obligations. And I am grateful to every taxpayer who continues to pay taxes” – Lesya Karnaukh stated.
Main sources of local budgets:
- personal income tax – 166.2 billion UAH (+ 20.5%);
- single tax – 42.1 billion UAH (+ 10.8%);
- property tax – 30.2 billion UAH (+ 12.8%);
- profit tax – 18.4 billion UAH (+ 1.4%);
- tourist tax – 174.8 million UAH (+ 22.6%);
- fee for parking spaces for vehicles – 112.4 million UAH (+ 11.1%);
- rent for subsoil of national importance – 343.7 million UAH (+ 15 %).
“Every additional UAH in the local budget becomes a significant resource for financing defense and social initiatives on the ground. Combining efforts of the State Tax Service, business and communities accumulates necessary resources for uninterrupted support of the regions and strengthening economic stability of the country” – emphasized acting Head of the State Tax Service.
