Employers transferred 5.8 billion UAH of the single social contribution to compulsory state social insurance to the state trust funds during 2019 in Khmelnytsly region. Amount of transferred single social contribution by the insurers of the region exceeded figures of 2018 by 938 million UAH.
In general according to the results of last year the growth in payment of the specified tax has amounted 19.6%. Specialists of the Tax service note that such the result is quite expected, since the un-shadowing of the labor market is under maximum attention and implementation of practical measures done by the STS jointly with other controlling bodies, authorities and local self-government authorities.
“Achieved positive dynamics in payment of the single social contribution to indicators of the previous financial year reflects proper administration of this payment by the Tax service and responsible attitude of the vast majority of employers. Meanwhile, tax specialists systematically communicate with employers who do incomplete payroll and, thus, minimize payment of the personal income tax and a single social contribution. Actual result of such communication is remedying the situation and strengthening the social protection of the peasants” – stated acting head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Khmelnytsly region Valerii Konovalchuk.
It is important to know that single social contribution is payable regardless of the taxpayer’s financial status in accordance with applicable legislation. If an individual simultaneously has obligation regarding the payment of single social contribution, tax obligations and other mandatory payments prescribed by the law or liabilities to other lenders – payment of the single social contribution must be done first and foremost and takes priority over all but except for the payroll obligations.
