Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region has summarized the results of work over 2019. Acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region Dmytro Prokofiev noted that principles of openness, transparency, partnership and service were a priority in the work of Service in 2019.
In order to ensure budgets of all levels with financial resources in 2019, Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region took effective measures aimed to expand the tax base, legalize the labor market, integrate tax risks and strengthen counteraction against the shadow economy.
Indicators of work of the Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region reflect effectiveness of taken measures. Budgets of all levels received more than 12.5 billion UAH of taxes and fees – compared to 2018 budget revenues have increased by 2.4 billion UAH. State Treasury received more than 5.8 billion UAH – this is 1.3 billion UAH or 29% more than in 2018. Local budgets received more than 6.7 billion UAH – this is almost 1.1 billion UAH or 19.1% more than in 2018.
Traditionally, the State Treasury budget-forming taxes are the value added tax and corporate income tax which were transferred in the amount of 2.5 billion UAH and almost 1.2 billion UAH respectively in 2019.
“Positive dynamics of budget revenues in 2019 is conditioned by the taxpayers’ honest execution of their constitutional duty to the state development of electronic services and qualitied administrative services. I’m sure that only through the establishment of open and transparent relations with honest business will ensure social stability and economic growth of the region.” – stated Dmytro Prokofiev.
