In 2019 entrepreneurs and employers of the region transferred 3286.6 million UAH of the single social contribution to compulsory state social insurance – this is 18.6% or 514.4 million UAH more than in 2018. Analysis of the structure of payments of the single social contribution shows that from the payroll fund transferred 2708.7 million UAH; the financial support of military personnel – 187.7 million UAH and individuals-entrepreneurs – 386.1 million UAH. This was stated by the Main Directorate of the STS in Chernivtsi region.
Filling the revenue part of budgets, including the state trust funds is one of the priorities for the State tax service. Un-shadowing of the labor market, raising the level of wages for employees, awareness of the law and activities in the legal sphere - these are the best conditions for business development.
Tax officials also point out to businesses that the debt of single social contribution is not writable. The limitation period for calculation, application and collection of the arrears, penalties and interest of single social contribution is not applicable. In addition, in the case of non-payment of single social contribution by the employer – such periods are not credited to the employee’s length of insurance service.
