As of 01.01.2020 Department of taxes and fees for legal entities of the Main Directorate of the STS in Poltava region reported that revenues of the value added tax were ensured to the state budget in the amount of 4 billion 87.4 million UAH. This is 861.01 million UAH more than revenues for the corresponding period of 2018, excluding income from business entities that have been credited to the Large Taxpayers Office.
In 2019, the biggest amounts of the VAT were transferred to the budget by the taxpayers registered in Poltava - 1 billion 226 million UAH. More than 1 billion 74.4 million UAH was transferred from business entities and individuals in city Kremenchuk, town Horishni Plavni, as well as in Hlobinskyi, Kobelyatskyi and Kozelyshyn districts; 526.8 million UAH was transferred from business entities and individuals in Lubenskyi, Khorolskyi, Piryatinskyi, Orzhitskyi, Grebinkivskyi and Semenivskyi districts; 411.4 million UAH was transferred from business entities and individuals in Poltava, Dykanskyi, Novosanzharskyi, Reshetylivkyi districts; 385.9 million UAH was transferred from business entities and individuals in Myrhorod, Velikobagachan, Shishatsky districts. Business entities in of Hadyatskyi, Zinkivskyi, Kotelevskyi and Lokhvytskyi districts provided tax revenues in the amount of 276.4 million UAH; Karlovskyi, Mashevskyi and Chutovskyi districts - 186.5 million UAH.
143 legal entities - taxpayers of the region have been reimbursed the VAT in the amount of 782.7 million UAH to their bank accounts over 2019.
