In 2019, Volyn region ensured collection of 8 billion 392 million UAH of tax payments administered by the STS bodies. Amount of taxes that was paid in 2019 exceeds the same indicators in 2018 by 19.7%.
“According to the results of 2019, growth of tax payments in comparison to the last year’s indicators is 1 billion 379 million UAH. Such positive indicators include social responsibility of Volyn business and constructive dialogue between Volyn tax specialists and representatives of the real sector of economy who honestly declare the financial result of business activity. Due to the systematic work on counteracting the risks of minimizing tax payments, tax specialists prevent budget losses in a timely manner. It is important that within the conditions of effective counteraction to the use of so-called tax credit “scheme”, representatives of the real sector of economy get more favorable conditions for carrying out their activity.”– emphasized Acting head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region Oleh Hyrykovych.
He emphasized that 2019 has shown significant tax success as significantly more taxes have been directed to the state and local budgets than in 2018.
“Due to the high-quality tax support of business representatives and generally effective administration of taxes, budgets of all levels in the region have received adequate funds to finance socio-economic issues. In 2018 was collected 7 billion UAH, on the contrary budget success of 2019 is obvious as its amount is approaching 8.4 billion UAH.” – summarized Oleh Hyrykovych.
