377.3 million UAH of the military levy has been transferred in support of Ukrainian army by the taxpayers of Kirovograd region over 2019 – this is 59 million UAH or 18.5% more than over January-December 2018.
The benchmark has been fulfilled by 102.7%.
In December 2019 the taxpayers of the region transferred 44.7 million UAH – this is 8 million UAH or 21.5% more than in December 2018. The benchmark has been fulfilled by 104.1%.
This demonstrates the high responsibility and honesty of employers and other tax agents, who are required to withhold and transfer the military levy to the budget from the income of individuals.
It should be reminded that according to current legislation the taxpayers of military levy are individuals who earn income both in Ukraine and abroad, the non-resident individuals who earn income in Ukraine and the tax agents.
Rate of military levy is 1.5% of the taxable amount.
