279.4 million UAH of the military levy was paid to the state budget over 11 months of 2019 in Volyn region.
As follows, the region’s financial contribution to support the country’s defense capacity exceeds the same indicator of 2018 by 18.2%.
“Each responsible and aware citizen knows that the national security and defense needs adequate financial support. That is why, working legally, every employee in official earnings makes personal financial contribution to the support of national army. Volyn employers deserve great respect as they work in the legal sphere, use labor of officially registered employees, paying all the taxes and fees stipulated for by law. Due to mutual responsibility of employees and their employers, the state is able to finance the national security measures and socio-economic programs” – emphasized Acting head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region Serhii Kondratiuk.
Reference: over January-November 2019, the biggest amount of military levy was paid in Lutsk - 120.5 million UAH, in Lutsk district - 21.9 million UAH, in Kovel - more than 15.9 million UAH, in Vladimir-Volynskyi - 15.1 million UAH and in Novovolynsk - more than 13 million UAH.
