Challenges and opportunities of training for tax officials during the war: State Tax Service’s delegation shared its experience at the IOTA forum

Forming competencies of the future, using artificial intelligence in training systems and creating internal communities for employees’ development – ​​these are the questions considered by participants of the IOTA forum on the topic “Prospective learning and development (L&D) for innovative and flexible administration”.

Event, which took place in the Podgorica city (Montenegro), became a platform for experience exchange between representatives of tax administrations of the European countries on modern approaches to personnel management. 

Ukraine was represented at the forum by the State Tax Service’s delegation, which presented a report on the topic: “Challenges and opportunities of internal training for civil servants of the State Tax Service of Ukraine during the period of martial law”.

Representatives of the State Tax Service shared their own experience: how the period of martial law became a serious test for state bodies, but at the same time a powerful incentive for personnel development and training. Internal training has acquired special importance, because it is that ensures stability, efficiency and team cohesion even in the extremely difficult conditions.

Ukrainian delegation, during event, took part in a plenary sessions and group discussions dedicated to modern methods of personnel training and development, creation of internal systems for training trainers and also got acquainted with practices of using artificial intelligence tools in work of the tax authorities of different countries.
