Almost 400 billion UAH of the personal income tax has already been paid to the budget this year

Payers have transferred almost 400 billion UAH of the personal income tax in 8 months of this year. This is 20.3% or + 67.3 billion UAH more than the corresponding figure last year.

The biggest number of the personal income tax payments was made by:

Kyiv city – 95.1 billion UAH,

Dnipropetrovsk region – 39.2 billion UAH,

Lviv region – 26.9 billion UAH,

Kyiv region – 23.8 billion UAH.

Growth of the personal income tax payment indicates legalization of labor relations, transparency of payments and business development.

Citizens are likely to remember about the opportunity to take advantage of the tax rebate. This right is provided for the personal income tax payers who, during the year, incurred expenses subject to compensation from the budget.

Documents to receive the tax rebate for expenses 2024 can be submitted until December 31, 2025.
