Lesya Karnaukh: Since the beginning of year, the personal income tax payments have exceeded the last year’s figure by more than 20%

Personal income tax payments since the beginning of year have exceeded the last year’s figure by more than 20%. In total, payers transferred 346.8 billion UAH during January – July of this year. This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesya Karnaukh on the Facebook page.

This is 59 billion UAH more than the last year.

Payment leaders continue to be:

Kyiv city – 82.7 billion UAH,

Dnipropetrovsk region – 34 billion UAH,

Lviv region – 23.5 billion UAH,

Kyiv region – 20.6 billion UAH.

"Economy continues to work even in difficult conditions. Our task is to create conditions without pressure when business will be increasingly interested in paying official salaries, and not in the "shadow". Because this, among other things, includes funds for community development and implementation of important projects on places" – added Lesya Karnaukh.

Citizens are likely to remember about the opportunity to take advantage of the tax rebate. This right is provided for the personal income tax payers who, during the year, incurred expenses subject to compensation from the budget.

Documents to receive the tax rebate for expenses 2024 can be submitted until December 31, 2025.
