Lesya Karnaukh: Personal income tax payments increased by 21.2%

Personal income tax revenues for the first half of the year increased by 21.2% compared to the last year. In total, taxpayers paid 292.3 billion UAH. This amount is 51.2 billion UAH higher than the last year. 

This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesya Karnaukh on the Facebook page.

For several months, leaders in payment terms have remained:

Kyiv – 68.2 billion UAH,

Dnipropetrovsk region – 28.9 billion UAH,

Lviv region – 19.8 billion UAH,

Kyiv region – 17.5 billion UAH. 

The biggest growth of the personal income tax in large regions and cities is quite logically related to the growth of significant demand for services. In addition, there are higher salaries and volume of official employment. 

"At the same time, we continue systematic work with taxpayers to bring activities out of the "shadow". So that, there is more motivation to work in a civilized manner, according to common rules and approaches. We are also increasing tax administration efficiency" – stated Lesya Karnaukh.
