For violation of RRO/PRRO usage requirements, the full amount of fines will have to be paid from August 1, 2025

Transitional period, during which reduced amount of fines for violating RRO/PRRO usage rules was in effect, will end from August 1, 2025.

Reminder! After renewal in 2023of the right of controlling authorities to fully apply penalties, the state temporarily reduced their size to 25% and 50% to adapt business to the new conditions. This was violation of requirements of Paragraphs 1 and 2 Article 3 of the Law of Ukraine № 265/95-VR.

These mitigations will cease to be valid and fines for failure to use RRO and failure to issue checks will again be charged in full:

- 100% of the cost of products (works, services) for the first violation;

- 150% of the cost for each subsequent violation.

Business entities are urged to ensure compliance with the established settlement rules in trade, public catering and services. Particularly:

- use of only registered RRO, PRRO or settlement books;

- make settlements for the full amount of the cost of products or services;

- issue appropriate settlement documents to buyers (in paper or electronic form).

Compliance with legislative requirements will allow to avoid financial sanctions, ensure fair competition and protect consumer rights.
