State Tax Service does not collect funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine: scammers again send fake letters on behalf of the Tax Service

State Tax Service once again warns business entities about a fraudulent scheme to extort money under the guise of military aid. In regions, cases of business entities receiving fake letters, calls and messages allegedly from the State Tax Service have become more frequent.

Please note: State Tax Service and its territorial bodies do not send letters or messages requesting to transfer "financial assistance" for needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.  

Attackers’ goal is to defraud entrepreneurs, discredit the Tax Service and undermine trust in genuine volunteers.

If you receive suspicious emails, it is recommended to:

do not click on any links,

immediately contact the law enforcement bodies,

notify the State Tax Service in any convenient way.
