State Tax Service recorded record revenues and number of checks issued through the RRO in May 2025

New record figures for transparent settlements were recorded in Ukraine in May 2025: turnover made using registrars of settlement operations (abb. RRO) and software RRO amounted to 473.4 billion UAH; number of checks was 896.2 million pieces.

Amount of revenue is a third higher than in May 2024. In total, the growth for a year amounted to 113.6 billion UAH or 31.6%. Revenue increased by 28.5 billion UAH compared to April 2025.

Average daily amount spent through cash registers reached 15.3 billion UAH, which indicates effectiveness of the State Tax Service’s preventive measures.

Number of fiscal transactions is also growing dynamically. 896.2 million checks were registered in May 2025. This is 48.1 million checks more than in April 2025 and 81.4 million more than in May 2024.

Average daily number of checks in May exceeded 28.9 million per day, which is currently the highest indicator of activity of using legal payment methods.

Factors contributing to the growth of share of transactions carried out through RRO / PRRO are the explanatory work of the State Tax Service, as well as effective control over compliance with fiscal discipline. 

Such data is important economic indicator and indicates expansion of the legal sector of economy. Transparency of settlements and convenience of electronic services contribute to raising level of tax culture and forming fair competitive environment.
