Webinar for leadership of the State Tax Service was held as a part of the National barrier-free week

Barrier-free in the civil service: challenges and prospects is the topic of interactive webinar organized jointly with the State Tax University for leadership of the State Tax Service.

Webinar, which took place as a part of the National barrier-free week, was conducted by Iryna Ovdiienko, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor of Psychology, Pedagogy and Social Sciences Department of the State Tax University, who has significant experience in research and practice in psychology.

Event participants discussed important aspects of the barrier-free access to public services and approaches to solving difficulties that may arise in this area. Attention was focused on the need to take into account needs of persons with disabilities, as well as tools and recommendations for creating a more accessible environment for all citizens.

Conduction of such trainings for civil servants provides opportunity to better understand importance of creating the barrier-free environment in the workplace, to identify and solve problems, as well as to implement practical solutions to ensure equal opportunities for all citizens.

Barrier-free is about convenience, respect and consideration of the needs of each and every person. Barrier-free is when you can.
