Ruslan Kravchenko: Citizens declared 326 billion UAH of income received in 2024

326 billion UAH – this is amount of income declared by citizens according to the Declaration campaign results 2025. Compared to the previous year, this is 107 billion UAH more. This was informed by Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko in the Telegram channel.

According to him, a total of more than 170 thousand declarations have been submitted.

“According to the declaration results, citizens independently determined payable amount of the personal income tax – 8.1 billion UAH and military levy – more than 1.5 billion UAH” – noted Ruslan Kravchenko. 

The biggest amounts were declared by residents of:

− Kyiv – 156 billion UAH,

− Dnipropetrovsk region – almost 30 billion UAH,

− Lviv region – 18.2 billion UAH,

− Kyiv region – 17.5 billion UAH.

The biggest amounts of income declared by citizens:

− foreign income –34.2 billion UAH,

− inheritance and gifts – 13.6 billion UAH,

− income from sale of movable and immovable property – 6.8 billion UAH,

− investment income – 4.9 billion UAH,

− other taxable income – 4 billion UAH,

− income from renting out property – 3.4 billion UAH.

Ruslan Kravchenko also said that this year the number of millionaires increased by 6.6 thousand compared to the previous period.

In total, more than 17 thousand people declared income of more than one million UAH. In total, millionaires declared income in the amount of 253.6 billion UAH and 8.7 billion UAH of tax liabilities were determined as payable. 

One of Kyiv residents determined the record amount of payable personal income tax and military levy obligations to the budget – more than 4.6 billion UAH.

Also, more than 53 thousand citizens have exercised their right to the tax discount – and will receive 330 million UAH from the budget. Compared to the corresponding period last year, this is 36 million UAH more.

"This year’s declaration campaign has shown an increase in the level of tax awareness among citizens and their understanding of paying taxes as a social necessity. Due you to everyone who honestly declared their income. You are the state’s partners in strengthening the economy!" – emphasized Ruslan Kravchenko.
