Taxpayers have already paid 2.56 billion UAH of the real estate tax this year

For "extra" meters of own real estate, taxpayers have already paid 2.56 billion UAH of the real estate tax other than land plot during January – March 2025.

Payment increased by 17.7% or almost 0.4 billion UAH compared to the corresponding period last year. Local budgets received 2.17 billion UAH in the first quarter of 2024.

The largest in the tax payment terms:

Kyiv – 515.6 million UAH,

Kyiv region – 261.4 million UAH,

Lviv region – 252.1 million UAH,

Odesa region – 243 million UAH. 

Reminder! Real estate tax is paid by individuals – owners:

- apartments with an area of ​​more than 60 sq. m;

- houses with an area of ​​ more than 120 sq. m;

- other various types of housing, including their shares of more than 180 sq. meters.

Tax in 2025 is paid by citizens for the reporting year 2024.  

Citizens should pay attention to the fact that if discrepancies are found regarding amount of accrued tax, they can contact the Taxpayer Service Centers and make a reconciliation.

It is possible to view generated tax notifications-decisions in Electronic cabinet if the one has electronic key or by using mobile application "My Tax Service".
